Early morning at 0530hrs pickup from your hotel in Dar es Salaam or at airport and drive to Mikumi national park. You will have picnic lunch on the way and the journey will take about 7hours through the most unexplored and untouched areas in Tanzania. The Mikumi flood plain is the main feature of the park along with the bordering mountain ranges. Animals commonly found here include lion, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, hippo and elephant. The Mikumi elephants are mainly grazers and do not causes damage. To sleep inside the park will give you an opportunity of viewing animals all the time. Dinner and overnight will be at Mikumi Park cottage.

Before breakfast make a Maasai tour, you will learn more about a polygamy style of maasai, how to make fire using sticks then be back to Bastian camp and proceed with game viewing en-route to Selous game reserve, on the way you will enjoying the life of different culture of some tribes in Tanzania. Breakfast in your accommodation followed by full day game drives in the reserve. Nyerere National Park is a home to large population of elephant, big number of buffalo and wild dog. Other species commonly seen are lion, bush buck, impala, giraffe, eland, baboon, zebra, Kudus and Crocodile.
